Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns a neuron detection apparatus (12) which includes an assembly (14) of elongate scintillator elements (16). The longitudinal axes of the scintillator elements (16) are directed towards a fast neutron source (10) and each of them contains a scintillating material with which fast neutrons originating from the source (10) can interact to generate detectable light. The apparatus also includes a light detector (18) for collecting light gel in the scintillator elements (16).
