Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for detecting the quantity of a product (P), preferably in paste or powder form, dissolved in a solution flow of known flow rate and unknown and/or variable concentration. Said universal method, which can be used with different con-trol and evaluation units, is character-ized by the following steps: a) cyclic measurement of the solution's (L) con-ductance; b) determination of the con-centration of the solution (L) by com-parison of the conductance measured with conductance/concentration charac-teristic curves (4a) stored in a data memory; c) calculation of the quantity of product from the product concen-tration determined in this way and the known flow rate; and d) addition of the calculated product quantity and generation of a pulse (7) as soon as a settable product quantity is reached. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the above method.
