ALUMINUM DIE CAST ALLOY HAVING HIGH MANGANESE CONTENT

Modified die-castable aluminum alloys resistant to mold soldering with low iron content and a higher manganese content by weight are disclosed. In each alloy the iron content is less than 0.6 % by weight and the manganese conten t is about 1.0-2.0 % by weight.
