Said (R)-piperidine derivatives are obtained fro m (RS)-piperidine derivatives of the general formula (II), in which R2 is hydroxy, amino or C1-6-alkoxy, in the presence of trace elements and using micro-organisms or cell-free enzymes from said micro-organisms.
