Zusammenfassung:	A method for continuous production of a cellulose suspension in hydrous N- methylmorpholine-N-oxide, characterized in that (a) the cellulose is conveye d through a first shear area in the presence of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide and is homogenized; (b) the homogenized cellulose is conveyed through a second shear area after adding a sufficient amount of hydrous N-methylmorpholine-N- oxide to create a suspension that contains 70-80 wt.% N-methylmorpholine-N- oxide in a liquid phase, whereby the cellulose or suspension totally fills t he available conveyor section in the shear areas.
