Zusammenfassung:A heat-shrinkable closure for a low-to-medium voltage power cable joint (3) wherein two different materials (7, 9) (preferably hot melt adhesives) are used to fill the voids within the container around the joint (3), a sealant (7) with a higher softening temperature being positioned to act as a dam at the ends of the closure to retain therein a lower-softening-point other sealant (9). Uniquely profiled or discontinuous layers of the sealing materials (7, 9) are preferred.
