STRUCTURE FOR RETAINING OPTICAL FIBER

An optical fiber system, comprising an optical fiber arranged to be continuous and form planarly staggered turning portions without intersecting itself, and an optical fiber retaining structure for fixedly retaining the optical fiber as one piece, in a sheet-like state by a fixing material. The fixing material could be a bonding agent or a film. The optical fiber forms a plurality of staggered turning portions laminated at a fixed position in a thickness direction of the optical fiber orthogonal to a plane on which the optical fiber is arranged.
