Zusammenfassung:The optical intersatellite communications system comprises a transmissi on element with a TX laser on the transmitter end and an optical modulator for transmitting a modulated laser beam (3), wherein this transmitter element respectively comprises one analog and one digital device, which can be selectively connected via a chan ge- over switch on the transmitter end to the optical modulator. The optical intersatellite communications system also comprises a receiving element which has an optica l RX receiver (21) on the receiver end and a local oscillator (22), wherein on th e output side of the RX receiver (21) a low pass filter unit (23) has been connected, to whic h an analog or a digital device can be selectively connected via a data signal change-over switch (24) on the receiver end.
