Zusammenfassung:A pouring device for the casting of metals is disclosed. The device includes a discharge assembly for discharging molten metal into a mould, feed means for deliverin g molten metal to the discharge assembly, measuring means adapted to measure the leve l of molten metal in the discharge assembly, and valve means provided in operative association with the discharge assembly, the valve means being responsive to signals from the measuring means to control the rate of discharge of molten metal by the discharge assembly. A continuous method of casting metal is also disclosed.
