Zusammenfassung:	A laser sighting device, for use in conjunction with measuring and treatment instruments, has means for generating at least one primary laser beam, of relatively greater intensity, to be directed at a target surface so as to illuminate a small area thereof. The device has means for, sub-dividing the at least one primary laser beam into a greater number of secondary laser beams of lesser intensity directed towards the target area to define a zone for investigation with the instrument. The sighting device includes means for changing between primary and secondary laser beams including a movable member having a first position in which it presents a beam attenuator in the path of the at least one primary laser beam attenuator in the path of the at least one primary laser beam and a second position in which it presents subdivision means in the path of the at least one primary laser beam.
