Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a silencer with a shunt resonator. Said shunt resonator (10) is formed by an outer housing volume which encompasses the sound-conducting channel (1) in a predetermined area. The sound-conducting channel (1) is connected to the shunt resonator (10) by openings (6). The openings in the sound-conducting channel (1) consist of tubular elements (6), preferably in a moulded part (5), extending from the sound-conducting channel (1) into the housing volume of the shunt resonator (10).
