Zusammenfassung:	A device for detoxifying and deodorizing a sterilizing gas, which includes a main pipe line functioning at one end thereof as a sterilizing gas inlet and at the other end thereof as a treated gas outlet, a blower connected to the inlet side at the middle of the main pipe line, a preheater, an oxidizing/decomposing means and a cooling means that are sequentially connected from the blower toward the outlet, and a bypass pipe line provided for that portion of the main pipe line where devices starting with the blower and including the cooling means are installed, is connected to a sterilizing tank, a sterilizing device is operated for a preset time for sterilizing, the device for detoxifying and deodorizing the sterilizing gas is operated a little ahead of the end of the sterilizing process to idling-circulate the gas for a preset time between the main and bypass pipe lines, the gas is then circulated between the sterilizing tank and the main pipe line for detoxifying, and a neutralizer is then introduced into the sterilizing tank for later treating by repeating the same steps as when the sterilizer was treated.
