The hill exterior edge (H) is only mateable with a hill edge (H) on another of the terrain pieces (8). The hill exterior edge has a change in height between end points of X. The distance between end points of the hill exterior edge (H) is Y. Some of the terrain pieces (8) have a slope exterior edge (S). The slope exterior edge (S) is only mateable with a slope edge (S) on another of the terrain pieces (8). The slope exterior edge (S) has a change in height between end points of X. The distance between end points of the sloped exterior edge (S) is 2Y.
