Zusammenfassung:The present invention pertains to the field of mixing techniques and may be used in the chemical, food-processing and pharmaceutical industries as well as in other industrial fields for performing the dispersion, homogenisation, pasteurisation and sterilisation of liquid media. The present invention may also be used for performing acoustic and chemical reactions at ultrasonic frequencies and for increasing the processing efficiency of circulating liquid media. This invention relates to a rotating pulse apparatus that includes a body (1) comprising a rotor (2) and a stator (4) having surfaces facing each other that bear turbulence-generating members (3, 8). The disc of the rotor (2) is located between the turbulence-generating members (3) and comprises notches and/or perforations (9). This apparatus is fitted with a system (11) for controlling the gap between the rotor (2) and the stator (4). The stator (4) is mounted with a gap relative to the body and further comprises in its central region at least one support point which is located in the region of the rotor rotation axis. The notches and/or perforations of the rotor disc may be formed at the periphery thereof as well as in the concentrically adjacent regions. The turbulence-generating members of the rotor and the stator have a trapezoidal shape, while the central region of the stator comprises tapering through-channels (6) permissive to the processed media. The central region may be made in the shape of a cylindrical or conical wall, while the peripheral region may be made in the shape of a disc or a truncated cone. This apparatus may also include one or several stators having different resilience indexes.
