Zusammenfassung: | A method and a system for controlling a dynamic channel reconfiguration of an access facility in which a first bit stream is connected on a first channel to a second channel. A status associated with the first bit stream is queried. In respon se to the query, status information, which includes a configuration map status, is received f or the first bit stream. The configuration map status for the first bit stream is then stored in a first memory area. A command is received for disconnecting the first bit stream on the first channel from the second channel, and the first channel is disconnected from the second channel. A set of parameters associated with the first channel are then groomed to match a set of parameters associated with the third channel. A command is received for connecting a second bit stream on the first channel to a third channel. A configuration status for the second bit stream is stored in a second memory area. The firs t channel is then connected to the third channel, and the second bit stream on the first channel is directed to the third channel. The dynamic channel reconfiguration implementation is restored by disconnecting the first channel from the third channel, regroomi ng the parameters associated with the first channel, storing retrieved configuratio n map status forthe first bit stream in the second memory area, connecting the first channel to the second channel, and directing the first bit stream on the first channel to t he second channel. |
