TOILET TANK WATER SAVING DEVICE

A toilet tank water saving device for selectively limiting the amount of water discharged from a toilet tank having a flush valve that upon activation is opened to allow water to flow out of the toilet tank. The device comprises a handle positioned adjacent to the exterior of the toilet tank, an elongate flexible connector having one end attached to the handle member and the other end attached to the flush valve of the toilet tank, and means to guide the flexible connector from the interior to the exterior of the tank. Following activation of the flush valve to release water from the toilet tank, pulling on the handle causes the flush valve to close before the contents of the tank are emptied thereby reducing the volume of water consumed through activation of the flush valve.
