Zusammenfassung:	A water- and oil-repellent composition which is so stable as not to cause settling for a prolonged period can be prepared by mixing a water- and oilrepellent with a blocked isocyanate emulsion comprising a blocked isocyanate, a surfactant and a liquid medium wherein the weight ratio of the blocked isocyanate to the surfactant ranges from 60:40 to 90:10 and the particles of the emulsion have a mean diameter of 250 nm or below.
