Zusammenfassung:	A process is disclosed for producing filaments from a hydroxy- or aminoalkylmelamine-modified melamine/formaldehyde condensation product. The highly concentrated aqueous solution of a melamine/formaldehyde condensation product is filtered, extruded through a spinning nozzle, the extruded threads are dried in a dry shaft by means of hot air, and the dried threads are processed in a tempering furnace at temperatures that rise progressively up to a maximum temperature from 160 to 250 ~C, thus hardening the pre-condensed product.
