STRIP APPLYING HAND TOOL WITH CORNER FORMING APPARATUS

There is disclosed a strip applying tool for applying strip material to substrates. The tool includes at least one cutting blade to slit cut the strip material from its exterior surface into its body to thereby facilitate the formation of a corner while maintaining the strip in a continuous uninterrupted length. The tool further provides a channel extending therein to receive strip material which provides a guide wall to permit the application of the strip to the substrate while maintaining a lower surface of the tool above the substrate to prevent moving or scratching of the substrate. L'outil comprend au moins une lame de coupe pour couper des fentes sur le matériau en bande à partir de sa surface extérieure vers l'intérieur de son corps pour faciliter ainsi la formation d'un coin tout en maintenant la bande avec une longueur continue sans interruption. L'outil fournit également un canal s'y étendant pour recevoir un matériau en bande qui fournit une paroi de guidage pour permettre l'application de la bande au substrat tout en maintenant une surface inférieure de l'outil au-dessus du substrat éviter de déplacer ou de gratter le substrat.
