Additional flexible latch web structure (22w) cooperates with the latch tong ue (22b) to provide additional forces which are active in assuring that the win gs (21, 22) are fully latched and to also provide additional resistance to unlatching the wings (21, 22). A plastic zipper slider (10) having hinged wings (21, 22) is provided with an improved latch tongue (22b) which is deflected downward to snap in place. Additional flexible latch web structure (22w) cooperates with the latch tongue (22b) to provide additional forces which are active in assuring that the wings (21, 22) are fully latched and to also provide additional resistance to unlatching the wings (21, 22).
