Zusammenfassung:A telephone unit which may be a handset has a display screen. A cover is movable so as to cover or uncover the display screen and the cover carries representations of dialing positions arranged in a keyboard format. The cover is flexible and pressure applied to it at any selected dialing position causes a transmission of the pressure to a corresponding screen position, with the cover over the screen, to provide a dialing signal. With the cover removed, the screen has at least one other function.
