DEVICE FOR THE AUTOMATIC CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION OF THE STARTING CONDENSER IN SINGLE-PHASE ASYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC MOTORS

A device for the automatic connection and disconnection of the startingcondenser in single-phase asynchronous electric motors comprises the fol-lowing elements: two condensers, the first of which is used for the starting and the second for the normal running of the motor, both condensers being connected in parallel to each other and in series to the feeding phase of the motor; a connecting and disconnecting device of the starting condenser which is directly connected to the feeding phase of the condensers and is fed with the same tension which feeds the running condenser, the disconnecting device consists essentially of a timing circuit which acts on a relay to dis-connect the starting condenser after a pre-established time immediately after the motor has been started.
