There are provided 1-{¢.alpha.-cyclopropyl-.alpha.- (substituted oxy)-o-tolyl!sulfamoyl}-3-(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)urea compounds of formula I (I). Further provided are compositions and methods comprising those compounds for the control of undesirable plant species.
