Zusammenfassung:	Frankfurt, 27.08.1992 PAT/rcht-sei Hoe92/Y014 of the disclosure For the recovery of the rhodium contained in them as soluble compounds, the distillation residues of products of the oxo synthesis are treated with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas in the presence of an alkali metal salt of a C2- to C5-monocarboxylic acid. The noble metal is then extracted from the organic phase with the aqueous solution of a complexing reagent, if appropriate after it has already been extracted beforehand with water by itself.
