Zusammenfassung:	Frankfurt, Dec. 16, 1991 PAT/rcht-sei Hoe91/Y017 Hoechst Aktienqesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main 80 A b s t r a c t Waste waters containing, in addition to water-soluble inorganic salts, water-soluble organic phosphorus compounds, in particular sulfonated arylphosphines, and possibly further organic contaminants, are treated with an inorganic acid and subsequently extracted with a water-insoluble amine. In a particular embodiment, the inorganic acid is used in the form of a salt of the amine used as the extractant.
