Zusammenfassung:	A washing machine controls system employing a thermistor at the inlet valve which enables integration of flow temperature in the valve with time to limit the thermal energy input of water. In another mode, fuzzy interference logic is used to automatically determine wash time based on signal inputs from a water turbidity sensor and a water fill/load sensor. The water fill/load sensor also enables automatic fill to the minimum water level needed to wash a given load of clothes. Fill load sensing employs sensing the reflection of either an ultrasonic or audible acoustic signal from the clothes as the tub is filled.
