Zusammenfassung:	An anti-skid composition for use on cellulosic fibrous material which comprises water, colloidal silica and a water-based elastomer emulsion. The colloidal silica has a mean particle size in the range from about 10 to about 150 nm. The water-based elastomer emulsion is a film-forming rubber polymer resistant to heat, light and ozone, such as an elastomeric terpolymer. The colloidal silica is present in the anti-skid composition in the range between about 5 to about 50% by weight, based on the total weight of the antiskid composition. The elastomer is present in the anti-skid composition in the range between about 0.1 to about 5%, as active material.
