Zusammenfassung:	An improved applicator for soft materials includes a cartridge section and a relatively rotatable body section, the soft material being contained within the cartridge section and a plunger being provided to advance the soft material. The improvement resides in the shortened length of the cooperating threads of the plunger and its relationship to the cartridge and body sections, and in resilient compression or tension devices to prevent inadvertent separation of the respective parts of the applicator.
