PROCESS FOR THE OPTICAL RESOLUTION OF 2-(6-METHOXY-2- NAPHTHYL) PROPIONIC ACID

A process for the optical resolution of 2-(6-methoxy-2-napthyl)propionic acid which comprises seeding a supersaturated solution of the ethylamine salt of said acid. 2-(6-Methoxy-2-naphthyl)propionic acid is useful in human therapy as an anti-inflammatory drug.
