Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are bis-dioxopiperazine derivatives and process for preparation thereof. The bis-dioxopiperazine derivatives are represented by the following formula (I): (I) wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; A represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a group of or wherein R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or phenyl; R3 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, phenyl or benzyl; and X and Y, which are respectively independent and are the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The compounds(I) have antitumor activity.
