Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides in a blow-molding apparatus of a plastics container, in which blow-molding apparatus: a lower mold and a pair of opposite side molds are provided, which lower mold is provided with a concave portion having a predetermined configuration and predetermined width and height for molding a top portion of said plastics container, which top portion is provided with a chime, which pair of opposite side molds are employed for molding a side and a bottom portions of said plastics container; said lower mold is lifted by a lift cylinder to a position near a die so that a predetermined clearance is formed between said lower mold and said die and to make it possible to extrude a molten resin from said die; then, said lower mold is further lifted by said lift cylinder to be brought into a press contact with said die so that said top portion of said plastics container is molded; then, the molten resin is extruded from said die to form a parison so that said lower mold is lowered by said cylinder at a speed coincident with a parison speed so that said lower mold is lowered to a predetermined position where said pair of side molds are closed to perform a blow-molding operation of said plastics container, whereby said plastics container provided with said chime in its top portion is molded, the improvement which resides in that: a ringlike portion of an outer portion of said concave portion of said lower mold is formed into a separate split-type mold: and between said split-type mold and said lower mold is provided a connecting means for selectively connecting said split-type mold to said lower mold.
