Zusammenfassung:	SHAFT-FURNACE WALL COOLING ARRANGEMENT An arrangement for cooling the wall of a shaft furnace comprises longitudinal cooling members made in the form of pipes arranged along the furnace wall, and supporting cooled projections made in the form of pipes with sleeves. The sleeves are fixed on the pipes of the longitudinal cooling members. The pipes of the supporting cooled projections are arranged relative to the pipes of the longitudinal cooling members so that an angle equal to or less than 90.degree. is formed therebetween. Such cooling arrangement makes it possible to improve durability of the refractory lining of the furnace shell and, consequently, to prolong the overhaul period of the furnace.
