Zusammenfassung:A novel wind driven electrical power generator is provided herein. It includes bladed wheel means which are mounted for rotation about an axis and which are adapted to be operatively connected to electrical power generator means. It also includes means defining a plurality of air flows for simultaneously impinging upon different portions of the wheel means. The air flow means comprises a first primary air duct means for directing a first air flow onto a first portion of the wheel means, and auxiliary air duct means for directing a second air flow onto a second portion of the wheel means, the auxiliary duct means comprising a pair of ducts disposed upon opposite sides of the wheel means, and manifold means for receiving the air flows conducted through the pair of ducts and for merging the flows into the second air flow. This structure thus cumulatively effects rotation of the wheel means and consequently the operation of the electric power generator means for the generation of electric power. The novel structure permits capture of wind currents within a variable directional range, and enables greater dynamic pressures, with correspondingly large forces to be impressed on the bladed wheel means, with a substantial increase in dynamic and static pressure on the wheel means.
