The PVC composition includes between about 2 and about 50 wt% based on PVC of finely divided amorphous calcium carbonate filler, the particles of which are coated with calcium salt of a fatty acid such as stearic acid and an effective amount of a UV absorber. TiO2 is usually present as a pigment and is also preferably present as the W absorber.
