Zusammenfassung:O F T H E D I S C L O S U R E DIGITAL DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM INCORPORATING HIGH SPEED ANALOGUE SAMPLING GATES Digital data processing systems are contemplated principally multiplexing de-multiplexing systems in which ultra fast switching analogue gates are used, which enable better results to be obtained than by using logical switching gates. Such gates consist of at least four ultra high speed switching elements such as diodes connected in a bridge circuit. These gates have one or two inputs as the case may be. For instance, a two input gate delivers a signal which is the arithmetic sum of the signals applied to its inputs. The use of such gates in a multiplexing system enables to obtain a single multilevel signal train at the common output of these gates. Demultiplexing system may also be obtained by the use of such analogue high speed switching gates. In addition, a multi-input high speed switching gate is described.
