A HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE TERMINATOR A terminator for a high voltage cable including a solid track resistant dielectric housing having a passage for receiving the end of a cable to be terminated, a connector within the passage for terminating the exposed end of the electrical conductor of the cable, an elastomeric sleeve bonded to one end of the dielectric housing and having a passage for scalingly engaging the cable, an electrically conductive shield within the passage in the dielectric housing, and a conductive washer connecting the connector to the shield to maintain an equal electrical potential throughout the length of the passage.
