Zusammenfassung:	A device for melting the icing by direct current on conductors of an overhead power transmission line, comprises a rectifier coupled during the ice melting period by its lead-out wires to the circuit between the disconnected conductor of the power transmission line and the ground wire, and a current filter set in resonance to the line to the commercial frequency, which is, for example, a capacitor bank connected in series to a reactor whose lead-out wires are connected in parallel to the direct-current voltage lead-out wires of said rectifier. The device can be used to melt the icing by direct current on conductors and cables of overhead power transmission lines within the voltage range from 110 to 220 kV and more.
