Zusammenfassung:	An electrical connector for use in mounting a dual in-line package on a substrate, comprises an electrically insulating housing carrying a plurality of receptacle contacts, each contact being received in an individual cavity in the housing with a post portion projecting from the cavity for receipt in a hole in a substrate, each cavity being formed with a rib which is received in a slot in the associated contact, the slot being formed by striking of the post portion from the remainder of the contact.
