Zusammenfassung:A product based on vegetable proteins which is distinguished by the quality of its texture, its appearance and its taste is produced by a process in which a layer of an aqueous colloidal suspension of vegetable proteins and fats is formed on a heated surface, the layer of suspension on this surface is dried to form a coherent film, the film thus formed is removed from the heated surface and moistened, layers of the moistened film are stacked one on top of another, the layers thus stacked one on top of another are compressed and the compressed pile thus formed is cooked.
