Zusammenfassung:	A process for dyeing or printing aromatic polyamide fibres with cationic dyes in aqueous medium, wherein the medium contains (a) a carrier which contains no ketoneforming carbonyl groups, and(b) an anionic assistant. The process of the invention is especially suitable to obtain wilt cationic dyes dyeings having a colour yield of 2 to 10 times greater than that obtained by using the same dye liquor but without the addition of any anionic assistant.
