Zusammenfassung:Disclosed herein three processes for producing novel bis(benzamido)-benzene derivatives having various pharmaceutical properties such as peptic ulcer-preventing and treating, peripheral vasodilating, hypotensive and analgesic activities and represented by the formula: (I) wherein X is a direct bond, oxygen, -CONH- or wherein R4 is lower alkyl; R1 is straight or branched lower alkylene; R2 and R3 are the same or different lower alkyls, or are bonded to each other directly or through one or more heteroatoms or are bonded to R4; and Y and Z may be the same or different, and each are hydrogen, lower alkyl, hydroxy, lower alkoxy, lower alknoyloxy or halogen.
