Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to the construction of modified genetic sequences, which comprise sequences for antigens (DBP-PA, DBP-AM, DBP-MT, AMA-1, CS and MSP-1 ) of Plasmodium vivax, the corresponding recombinant proteins encoded by said sequences as well as genetically modified viruses that express these recombinant antigens. In addition, the present invention refers to a method of prime-boost vaccination using adenoviral or poxviral vectors, purified proteins for immunization of mammals and vaccine compositions to be used as vaccines against malaria.
