FORMULAÇÕES CONTENDO XILOGLICANO MUCO-ADESIVAS ÚTEIS EM DISPOSITIVOS MÉDICOS E EM FORMULAÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS. O objeto da invenção são formulações muco-adesivas e de liberação controlada consistindo em soluções aquosas contendo 0,05% a 5% em peso de um polímero purificado natural tendo estrutura xiloglicano e 10% a 70% em peso de glicerol. Estas formulações são apropriadas para aplicação sobre membranas de mucosas humanas, tais como membranas de mucosas nasal, oral e vaginal, como agentes umectantes e amaciantes ou como sistema de liberação farmacêutica. Ainda objetos da invenção são formulações farmacêuticas e dispositivos médicos apropriados para a aplicação a membranas de mucosas humanas, contendo as formulações muco-adesivas e de liberação controlada junto com ingredientes ativos e excipientes.
