Zusammenfassung:	Multimetal oxide mass is of the following expression Mo12BiaX bFecX dX eOy (I), where X is Co and/or Ni; X is Si and/or Al; X is alkali; 0.3 ≤ a ≤ 1; 2 ≤ b ≤ 10; 0.5 ≤ c ≤ 10; 0 ≤ 10; 0 ≤ e ≤ 0.5 and y is a number which is produced by the sum of the valencies and the stoichiometric coefficient of the remaining elements, where in the crystalline portion, lies beta -X MoO4as main component, Fe2(MoO4)3 as sub component and no MoO3. Independent claim is included for (a) process for producing multi-metal oxide, (b) use of multi-metal oxide and (c) catalyst in the form of stone chips, mold body or shell catalyst.
