Zusammenfassung:	A hydraulic connector suitable for subsea applications comprises a male portion 2 and a female portion 1. The male portion comprises a probe with a profiled internal chamber 13 containing a matching biassed plug 17 with a passageway 22 through it. The female portion comprises a corresponding receiver with a similarly profiled internal chamber 3 containing a similar matching biassed plug 7 with a passageway 12 through it. Several female portions may be mounted in a connector head and several male portions in a stab plate to form a connector for several hydraulic lines. Electrical connectors may be added to the assemblies. Two connector heads may be connected by an umbilical to form a flying lead.
