The application relates to the recovery of glass sheets at the exit of a plant for bending and quenching with a shaping bed curved in the direction of travel of the glass sheets. It proposes a process in which a gas is blown onto the glass sheets at the tilting device used to transfer the said glass sheets onto a conveyor in a substantially horizontal direction so as to bring about the quenching of the said glass sheets.
