Zusammenfassung:The filling valve for a bottle filling machine has an axially moving valve member (2) with a sealing ring (3) mounted on the bottom. This has a sloping contact surface which is held against the funnel shaped surface (4) of an outlet (5) below. Mounted around the valve member is a skirt (7) which fits into a ring shaped depression (6) around the funnel shaped outlet. Just above this seating surface are holes or grooves (9), radial to the axis of the central hole (8). They can also be partly helically shaped so that liquid which is moving with a spinning action, is collected by them. This ensures that the residual gas discharge channel is not blocked by liquid.
