Trata-se de um aparelho e um sistema para realizar termoterapia em pelo menos uma porção de um local de tecido. O aparelho e sistema compreendem uma sonda de aquecimento que compreende uma área de emissão. A sonda de aquecimento é conectável a uma fonte de energia para aquecer o tecido pela área de emissão. O aparelho e sistema compreendem a manga. A sonda de aquecimento é passível de disposição na manga, e a manga é configurada para ser deslizada ao longo da sonda de aquecimento em uma direção distal e/ou proximal para o posicionamento da área de emissão na dita porção de tecido para controlar a termoterapia.
