Zusammenfassung:	Um anel de pistão é fornecido o qual é fornecido com uma camada de carbono tipo diamante (DLC) como uma camada funcional/de proteção contra desgaste, em que camada DLC é revestida com uma camada protetora, o material da qual difere daquele da camada DLC e o material do qual tem resistência térmica mais alta que o material da camada DLC. Além disso, um método é fornecido para produzir um anel de pistão com uma camada protetora de desgaste DLC em cuja superfície a camada protetora está presente na forma de depósitos em depressões criadas pela rugosidade de superfície. A piston ring is provided with is furnished with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) layer as a functional/wear protection layer, wherein the DLC layer is covered with a protective layer, the material of which differs from that of the DLC layer, and the material of which has higher thermal resistance that the material of the DLC layer. In addition, a method is provided for producing a piston ring with a DLC wear protection layer, in whose surface the protective layer is present in the form of deposits in depressions created by the surface roughness.
