The feed distributor comprises a guide body to (110) contact and distribute the flow of feed material and a mounting assembly to mount the guide body at the input hopper. The mounting assembly (114) is specifically configured with a plurality of independent mounts that collectively provide three or four adjustments and decrease of freedom corresponding to up to three lateral adjustments and one rotational adjustment.
